ARTIST PROFILE

Caitlin Ross Odom born in Dayton, Ohio grew up mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. Moving to Oahu in 1999 with a couple of years jewelry fabrication and casting experience she fell in love with the north shore's beautiful beaches and spent time daily picking up shells and sea glass. She began to encorporate these found treasures in her silver jewelry designs into a modern natural style art for wear. Currently the artist lives on Kaua'i where she collects and creates the settings from her found treasures. Caitlin also enjoys surfing and dancing hula which has increased her love and respect for all of Hawai'i and Hawaiian culture. The ocean and the land are both powerfull and precious, full of spirit constantly changing and providing an abundance of inspiration for Caitlin's work.
